Queens Master
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information when you play Queens Master (the "Game"), a puzzle game published by Portal Crafter ("we", "us"). It covers the iOS and Android versions of the Game.
The short version. The Game has no accounts and no sign-up. Your puzzle progress, stars, settings and statistics are saved only on your own device and are never sent to us. We do not receive your name, email address or precise location. The Game does show ads, and our advertising partner Google collects device-level data to serve them. You can control that at any time from the Game's settings.
1. Information we do not collect
We want to be specific about this, because it is most of the picture. The Game does not ask for, and we never receive:
- Your name, email address, phone number or postal address
- Any account registration or login of any kind
- Your precise or GPS location
- Your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar or files
- Payment or financial information. The Game contains no purchases.
We operate no servers of our own for this Game, and there is no account for us to look up. We could not identify an individual player if we wanted to.
2. Information stored on your device
To let you stop and resume, the Game saves the following in your device's local app storage. This data stays on the device, is not transmitted to us, and is not backed up to any service we control:
- Level progress, completion status, stars earned and best times
- Your remaining lives and the state of any puzzle in progress
- Settings such as music volume, sound effects, haptics and theme
- Aggregate play statistics, for example levels cleared and total stars
- Counters that space out ad displays, such as how many levels you have finished since the last ad
Deleting or uninstalling the Game permanently erases all of it.
3. Advertising
The Game is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial and rewarded video ads. To serve, cap, measure and bill for those ads, Google collects and processes information from your device, which may include:
- Your device's advertising identifier (the Android Advertising ID, or Apple's Identifier for Advertisers)
- Your IP address, and a coarse, approximate location derived from it, such as a city or region
- Device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, and the app you are using
- Ad interaction data, such as whether an ad was shown, viewed or clicked, and whether a rewarded video was completed
This processing is carried out by Google as an independent controller under its own terms. To understand and control it, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Your advertising choices
| Control | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Consent for personalised ads (EEA, UK and Switzerland) | A consent form appears the first time you open the Game. You can reopen it and change your answer at any time from Settings then Ad privacy settings inside the Game. |
| App tracking (iOS) | iOS asks for your permission before any tracking. You can change it later in iOS Settings then Privacy and Security then Tracking. |
| Reset or delete your advertising ID (Android) | Android Settings then Privacy then Ads. |
| Limit ad tracking (iOS) | iOS Settings then Privacy and Security then Apple Advertising. |
Declining personalised ads does not remove ads and does not restrict any part of the Game. You will simply see ads that are not tailored to you.
4. Leaderboards
The Game offers optional leaderboards through Google Play Games Services on Android and Apple Game Center on iOS. These are entirely optional. If your device is not signed in to those services, the Game shows your local statistics only and nothing is submitted anywhere.
If you are signed in, your platform-provided player name and your scores, meaning your total stars and levels cleared, are submitted to Google or Apple so they can be ranked. That data is held and displayed by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies, not ours. We receive no personal information from either service, and we cannot see who you are. To stop participating, sign out of Play Games or Game Center on your device, or manage your profile in those apps.
5. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. It is rated and distributed for a general audience of 13 and over. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, please contact us at the address below and we will act on it promptly.
6. Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent for personalised advertising and any associated tracking. You give it through the consent form, and you can withdraw it at any time from the Game's settings, with no effect on the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Legitimate interests for serving non-personalised ads, capping how often ads appear, and preventing fraudulent or invalid ad traffic, which is what keeps the Game free to play.
7. Data retention
Data stored on your device stays there until you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Data processed by Google for advertising and by Google or Apple for leaderboards is retained according to their own published retention schedules, which are described in the policies linked in this document. We hold no copy of either.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because we hold no personal data about you ourselves, the fastest route to erasure is to uninstall the Game, which removes everything stored on your device, and to reset or delete your advertising identifier using the controls in section 3. For data held by Google or Apple, please exercise your rights directly with them through the links above. You may also contact us and we will help where we can.
If you are a California resident: we do not sell your personal information for money. Personalised advertising can qualify as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under the CCPA and CPRA. You can opt out of it at any time using the ad privacy settings described in section 3.
9. Security
Game data never leaves your device, so it is protected by your device's own operating system, its sandboxing between apps, and any device passcode or encryption you have enabled. Communication with our advertising partner uses encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how the Game handles information, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will also be reflected in the app's store listing. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the revised policy.
